Copyright, takedowns, and counter-notices

GPA Lord respects the rights of authors, instructors, and universities and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Listings are user-submitted; we remove reported material immediately and terminate repeat infringers.

Report a listing (DMCA notice)

Open the listing and click "Own this content? Request removal", or use the removal form. The form collects the elements a DMCA notice requires: identification of the work, the listing, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your electronic signature. You may also email the same information to our designated agent below.

What happens next

You receive an email to confirm the report. Once confirmed, an administrator reviews it, normally within two business days. If upheld, the listing is removed, the uploader is notified and receives a strike (three strikes result in permanent suspension), and buyers who purchased the listing within the previous 14 days are refunded. If dismissed, you are told why and may reply with more information.

Counter-notice

If your listing was removed and you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, email the designated agent with: identification of the removed listing; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake; your name, address, and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district; and your signature. If the original claimant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the listing.

Instructors

If a quiz, exam, or other assessment you authored appears on the Service, use the removal form and select "I am the course instructor" with your university email address; instructor reports are prioritized. No account is needed, and we will provide the uploader's account information upon a lawful request.
